Natalie Bode Media LLC Privacy Policy
About this Privacy Policy
Welcome to Natalie Bode Media LLC (“House of Nat,” “we” or “us”) and our Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”). This Privacy Policy is important and affects your legal rights, so please read carefully.
This Privacy Policy explains how House of Nat collects, uses, discloses, retains and protects personal information when you use the House of Nat website, mobile applications (“Apps”) and related services (collectively, the “House of Nat Services”). This Privacy Policy is a notice describing our practices. It does not itself constitute consent where applicable law requires a specific affirmative opt-in. When affirmative consent is required for a particular collection, use, or disclosure, House of Nat will request that consent separately before the applicable processing occurs. Our Terms of Use govern your use of the House of Nat Services.
Our processing of personal information, such as your name, address, email address, or telephone number, will be undertaken consistent with the requirements of applicable privacy laws.
Information We Collect
Information We Collect Directly from You
Depending on how you use the House of Nat Services, we may collect:
Account and profile information. Name, email address, authentication credentials, profile photograph and account identifiers.
Fitness and wellness information. Fitness-goal selections (from predefined options only), workout schedules, workout-completion information, streaks, saved workouts and optional daily wellness selections (“Tired,” “Sore,” “Stressed” or “Low Energy”).
Subscription and transaction information. Subscription status, membership tier and transaction or receipt information. Purchases made through Apple, Google or Stripe are also subject to the applicable payment provider’s terms and privacy practices. House of Nat does not receive or store your full payment-card number when payment is processed directly by those providers.
Communications and waitlist information. Information you provide when you contact us, request support or join the waitlist.
We do not collect information from Apple HealthKit and do not use advertising or cross-service behavioral-tracking SDKs as of the Last Updated date.
We may also collect additional information, which may be personal information, as otherwise described to you at the point of collection or pursuant to your consent.
Information We Automatically Collect When You Use Our Site
When you use the House of Nat Services, House of Nat and its service providers may automatically receive limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and support the Services, such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, timestamps, authentication records, and security or diagnostic logs.
How We Collect Information
We collect information (including personal information and technical information) when you use and interact with the House of Nat Services, and in some cases from third-party sources. Such means of collection include:
When you access, use, or contact us through the House of Nat Services.
When you voluntarily provide information through the House of Nat Services.
Through the necessary session cookie described in Section 4.1.
Cookies and Opt-Out Preference Signals
Necessary Cookies
The House of Nat website does not currently place advertising or analytics cookies and does not store information in local storage, other than a single entry recording your choice about whether to load the video. When a member signs in, House of Nat uses one necessary Supabase session cookie to authenticate and maintain the member’s session. House of Nat does not use analytics cookies, advertising pixels, tag-management tools, or cross-service behavioral-advertising technologies. Certain public and member pages include videos hosted by Mux. Mux-hosted content does not load until you choose to load the video. If you do, your browser connects directly to Mux, which may receive your IP address, device or network information, and information identifying the requested video for video delivery, security, and related operational purposes. Choosing “Not now” prevents the Mux player from loading and prevents the corresponding request to Mux. Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies on its own checkout and customer-portal domains, subject to Stripe’s privacy practices.
Managing Cookies
You may be able to reject cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser or device. If you block the necessary session cookie, you may not be able to sign in or use member features of the House of Nat Services.
“Do Not Track” (DNT) and Universal Opt-Out Preference Signals
Some web browsers (including Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome) incorporate a “Do Not Track” (DNT) or similar feature that signals to web services that a visitor does not want to have their online activity and behavior tracked. If a web service operator elects to respond to a particular DNT signal, the web service operator may refrain from collecting certain personal information about the browser’s user. Not all browsers offer a DNT option and there is currently no industry consensus as to what constitutes a DNT signal. For these reasons, many web service operators, including House of Nat, do not proactively respond to DNT signals. For more information about DNT signals, visit https://fpf.org/thank-you-for-visiting-allaboutdnt-com/.
House of Nat recognizes applicable opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control. House of Nat does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. For a signed-in member, House of Nat records a recognized preference signal as a standing account preference. For other visitors, House of Nat honors the signal during the applicable interaction without creating an identifier solely to retain the preference.
Workout Personalization
House of Nat uses a rule-based scoring process to suggest workouts. The process considers only information associated with your own account, including your recent workout history, optional daily wellness selection, and workout duration. It does not use artificial intelligence or machine learning and does not compare your information with information concerning other members.
How We Use Your Information
We may use information (including information that has been de-identified and/or aggregated) to better understand who uses the House of Nat Services and how we can deliver a better user experience. We use information, including personal information, to provide the House of Nat Services and to help improve the House of Nat Services, to develop new services, and to advertise our services. Specifically, such use may include:
Providing you with the products, services, and information you request.
Corresponding with you.
Providing, maintaining, administering, or expanding the House of Nat Services, performing business analyses, and for other internal purposes.
Combining information received from third parties with information that we have from or about you and using the combined information for any of the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Fulfilling our legal obligations, such as preventing, detecting, and investigating security incidents, fraud, and potentially illegal or prohibited activities.
Enforcing our Privacy Policy and other agreements.
House of Nat may send service-related emails necessary to administer your account, subscription or privacy requests. House of Nat may also send newsletters and promotional offers where permitted by law and, where required, after obtaining your consent. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link included in each promotional email; promotional-email opt-outs are not managed through account settings. Unsubscribing from promotional emails will not affect service-related communications.
How We Share Your Information
In certain circumstances, and in order to perform the House of Nat Services, we may share certain information about you as described in this section:
We do not sell personal information or consumer health data.
We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may share your personal information and technical information with our service providers and processors who perform operational services for us (such as hosting, billing, fulfillment, data storage, email delivery, video delivery, or security).
We may transfer your personal information to another company in connection with a proposed merger, sale, acquisition or other change of ownership or control by or of House of Nat (whether in whole or in part). We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before your information becomes subject to different privacy practices.
We also may need to disclose your personal information or any other information we collect about you if we determine in good faith that such disclosure is needed to: (1) comply with or fulfill our obligations under applicable law; (2) protect the rights, property or safety of you, House of Nat or another party; (3) enforce this Privacy Policy or other agreements with you; or (4) respond to claims that any posting or other content violates third-party rights.
House of Nat currently uses the following service providers to operate the House of Nat Services:

RevenueCat. Subscription entitlement and receipt validation. Deletion of the RevenueCat record propagates automatically upon account deletion.
Stripe. Direct-web billing and payment processing.
Resend. Transactional and promotional email, privacy correspondence, and delivery of a time-limited link to a data export.
Mux. House of Nat uses Mux to host and stream workout videos. When you request a workout video, your device connects to Mux, which may receive your IP address, device or network information, and information identifying the requested video or workout for video delivery, security, and related operational purposes. House of Nat has disabled Mux analytics cookies.
House of Nat does not collect reproductive or sexual health data. The App does not contain cycle-tracking functionality and does not request or store any information relating to reproductive or sexual health. Washington consumers should review our Washington Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy at houseofnat.com/privacy/washington. Nevada consumers should review our Nevada Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy at houseofnat.com/privacy/nevada. If this Privacy Policy conflicts with an applicable state-specific policy regarding consumer health data, the applicable state-specific policy controls.
Collection and Use of Sensitive Information
We collect the following categories of information that may be classified as sensitive personal information under applicable law:
Optional wellness selections (Tired, Sore, Stressed or Low Energy), collected only with affirmative consent as described herein. House of Nat does not collect information relating to reproductive or sexual health data.
Storage and Security of Information
Any information you send to us electronically, while using the House of Nat Services or otherwise interacting with us, may not be secure when it is transmitted to us. We recommend that you do not use unsecure channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us. Please be aware, despite our best efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee “perfect security.” Any information you send us through any means is transmitted at your own risk.
Your Choices
Information You Provide
You can choose whether or not to provide personal information through the House of Nat Services. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights relating to your personal information and will not (i) deny you goods or services, (ii) provide you with a different level or quality of services, or (iii) charge you different prices for services for doing so.
Individual Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence and the applicability of state privacy law to House of Nat, you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether House of Nat processes personal information concerning you
- Access and obtain a copy of personal information
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion of personal information
- Obtain personal information in a portable format
- Opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, or certain profiling
- Limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information; and
Appeal a denial of a privacy request.
To make a request in relation to the above rights, please contact us using the information in the Contact Us section below, or use the in-app Privacy Requests screen (accessible via Profile → Settings → Privacy Requests), which allows you to: (i) request a copy of your data, (ii) withdraw wellness consent, (iii) delete wellness history while retaining your account, and (iv) submit an appeal. To fulfill your request, we will need to verify your identity. Only you or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf may make a request related to your personal information. To designate an authorized agent, the authorized agent must provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify that you authorize them to act on your behalf.
When House of Nat fulfills a data-access request, the export is placed in a private storage location, and the requester receives an email containing a link that expires after 48 hours. The export is not attached to the email.
Resend transmits the email containing the link. Resend retains sent-message content in accordance with its practices. The email contains the recipient’s email address, a subject line, explanatory text, and the time-limited link, but does not contain the consumer’s wellness or workout data as an attachment or in the message body.
How Long We Retain Your Information
We retain:
- Account and profile information for the duration of the account and for 3 years after closure
- Wellness selections are retained until you withdraw consent or request deletion. House of Nat deletes the wellness selections from active systems within 30 days after authenticating the request
- Workout and saved-content history for the duration of the account and for 2 years after closure
- Subscription and transaction records for 7 years
- Support communications for 3 years; and
Our hosting provider (Supabase) ordinarily retains daily backups for seven days; following a deletion request, any remaining backup copy will be removed through the ordinary backup cycle and no later than 90 days.
The periods above describe House of Nat’s routine maximum retention periods. They are subject to earlier deletion where required by applicable law or requested through an authenticated privacy request, and to limited retention where reasonably necessary to comply with law, complete a transaction, maintain security, resolve disputes, or establish or defend legal claims. We may retain some information in a de-identified and/or aggregated form but not in a way that would identify you personally.
Account deletion removes the user’s active House of Nat account, profile, wellness history, workout history, saved workouts, and related data and initiates deletion of the corresponding RevenueCat record. Where applicable, House of Nat may delete the associated Stripe customer profile, but Stripe charge, invoice, and other transaction records may be retained for seven years for tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, and legal-compliance purposes. Resend may retain sent-message records in accordance with its own retention practices.
Links to generated data exports expire 48 hours after they are sent. House of Nat deletes the underlying export file from private storage within 48 hours after it is generated. If an account becomes inactive or is administratively closed without a deletion request, the routine retention periods above apply.
Consumer health data may be deleted separately from the user’s full account through the Privacy Requests process described herein and as applicable under the Washington or Nevada Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
