What we collect

Your email address, and your first name if you choose to give it. Those are the only two fields on the form.

We also record the date you signed up and which page you signed up from, so we know where people are joining from.

When we send you an email, our email provider can tell us whether it was opened and whether you clicked a link in it. We use that only to see which launch updates were useful — never to build a profile of you.

What we use it for

We use your email address to send you updates about the House of Nat launch, including the founding-member rate. We will not use it for anything else without telling you first.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with advertisers or other brands. Two service providers handle it on our behalf so the list can work: the company that hosts our database, and the company that delivers our email. Both act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

Data is stored on servers in the United States. We may also disclose information if the law requires it. If you’d like to know which providers we currently use, email us and we’ll tell you.

How we protect it

Your information is stored on our providers’ servers, encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to Natalie and the systems that need it. No system is perfectly secure, but the list holds nothing beyond a name and an email address.

Unsubscribing and deleting your information

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. You can also email hello@houseofnat.com at any time to unsubscribe, to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted entirely. We will delete it and confirm that we have.

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If the launch list is retired, we delete it.

California residents

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, to have it deleted, to have it corrected, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. Email hello@houseofnat.com to exercise any of these rights.

Children

The waitlist is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has joined the list, email us and we will remove it.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of this page. When the full House of Nat privacy policy is published, it will replace this notice and we will say so in an email to the list.
